French Red Stripe Grainsack Placemat

These placemats are made from our heavyweight grainsack cotton — a strong, textured cloth with a natural slubby finish and woven red stripe.

Each one is sewn by our local seamstresses in Nottingham and cut to make the most of the stripe placement. The weight of the fabric means they sit nicely on the table without slipping about, and they wash well too.

They’re practical enough for everyday use but still feel considered, whether laid simply for breakfast or alongside one of our matching runners for a more dressed table.
